ACT awards AMCT to some CertICM Students

Mar 1, 2022

The Association has decided to grant CertICM students that finished their CertICM studies between 2015 and June 2021 full Associate Membership of the ACT (AMCT).

In 2015 the ACT qualification pathway was split into a treasury and a cash management route, making it less achievable for cash management student to obtain the AMCT qualification. The decision was also made as the CertICM was re-written in 2021; lowering the complexity and difficulty of the certification, including the introduction of multiple-choice questions in the exam.

Although the decision only applies to those CertICM students that qualified between 2015 and June 2021 (when the new CertICM was launched) they would review any enquiries on a cast by case basis from anyone who completed CertICM before 2015.
